Senior photo sessions don’t have to feel stiff or overly posed—in fact, they should be fun and easygoing. Ryan’s senior session at Palmer Park in Colorado Springs was exactly that: relaxed, personal, and full of great moments.
We kicked things off in the Council Grounds area with rugged white sandstone formations. A friendly park visitor let us use his vintage truck for a few shots—fitting, since Ryan is a big fan of classic trucks! After a quick wardrobe change, we made our way up to one of Palmer Park’s beautiful mesas. A rustic fence line and sweeping view of Colorado Springs made an ideal backdrop for that Colorado feel.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we captured some bold silhouette shots against the summer sky—one of my favorite ways to end a session. With two easy parking areas and countless natural backdrops, Palmer Park is a dream location for senior pictures in Colorado Springs.
