MY EXPERIENCE
I have 2 decades of experience photographing families. I'm a Colorado Springs native and know my city well, so I know some great locations- even hidden ones (I've been known to make an overgrown alley into a dreamy backdrop!) I have four kids and a bunch of nieces and nephews, and know how to play with kids and help them enjoy being photographed. I know when to take breaks and just let kids be kids (and how to sneak in a few photos of them while they're at it!)
MY STORY
I grew up drawing and painting. And, one day when I was in middle school, I picked up a camera and found my artistic passion. My love for photography has grown with me through studying art and photography in college, and becoming a mom of four.
I love to share this gift with people. I love to see the way kids light up when they see photos of themselves being loved on by their families. And, most of all, I LOVE THE FAMILIES I get to capture. My world has become so much bigger- and better- because of people like you!
WHY I'M RIGHT FOR YOU
I care about you, and I educate you about my entire process of planning, visualizing, and photographing. I get to know a bit about where you live, your lifestyle, and how you plan to USE and DISPLAY your pictures. This increases the chances that you will be very happy with your pictures because they will reflect who you are and look great in your home. This is why I offer FULL SERVICE photography!
In short, I offer a lot of hands-on service and care. I am not here just to take pictures and send you downloads. I'm here to help you plan, prepare, enjoy your session, and have family heirlooms and keepsakes to hold in your hands and hang on your walls.
My photography families are people who, more often than not, stay in my life. They come back again and again to be photographed. Some of my closest friends began as photography clients. I am deeply invested in making sure you feel great about your family photos, and that when you look at them in your home, you remember your experience with pleasure.
