When Isaac's mom contacted me about doing a backcountry ski session while there was still snow on the peaks, I jumped at the chance! Isaac is an outdoor-loving guy through and through, so this session theme was perfect for him!

We were gifted one of those famous Colorado blue-sky days with puffy white clouds, the perfect setting for photos among the snow-capped peaks near Hoosier Pass, outside of Fairplay. The going was a little slow over the deep snow in our boots (next time I'll invest in some snow shoes!), but we post-holed our way up the slopes to a nice little ski run with the peaks in the backdrop. It was perfect for some action shots!
What a fun hour we had taking portraits and action shots on a perfect spring day in the Rockies! I could use a little more of this kind of fun in my life!
