We had a magnificent sunflower bloom this year in Colorado Springs. It's the best I've ever seen, and I've lived here for decades. I just had to get my friend, Jen, and her twin girls in front of my camera for a special mom-and-daughter photo shoot in those flowers. Palmer Park has lovely meadows filled with flowers in the summer, so it was naturally the best location I could think of, with its mountain views and majestic bluffs. We even got a glorious pink and purple sunset to go with it! Magical!
